Business School Applicants – Are You First Generation College?
Are you or your siblings the first people in your family to go to college? If so, are you interested in navigating the admissions process with a group of your peers? North Star Admissions Consulting is excited to announce a selective group consulting program for first generation MBA candidates who are applying in the 2015-2016 application season.
Starting March 15th, we will work together to plan and execute your optimal MBA application strategy, and to complete two business school applications. Our sessions will cover testing, school visits and selection, networking, post-graduate career trajectories, interview preparation, refining and conveying your story, and writing persuasive essays. We will also establish a timeline with fixed milestones.
You will be guided by Karen Marks, former Associate Director of Admissions at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the President and Founder of North Star Admissions. Karen leverages 12+ years of admissions experience to help you submit powerful applications that emphasize your strengths and mitigate your weaknesses. Since 2012, she has helped her clients gain admission to Stanford, Harvard, Wharton, Tuck, MIT, Cornell, Booth, Kellogg, Columbia, NYU, Darden, Yale, Duke, UNC and more, with over 3.6 million dollars in scholarships. Over 90% of her clients were admitted to one of their top choice schools.
In addition to webinars and virtual small group sessions, we will have one in-person seminar in Hanover, NH. Throughout the process, you will hear from current MBA students and graduates from top 10 business schools, who will coach you and share their experiences. Each participant will also have 5 hours of individual consulting with Karen. The program costs $4,250.
